Going Yellow Frugal 5

I'm really getting into the swing of the Frugal competition over at Nessa's blog. The idea being that you make a Christmas card from stash that it not Christmas orientated. So no Christmas stamps or dies but you can use a Christmas sentiment.
Here's what I pulled from my stash for todays card.
Xcut Circle dies, Britannia word die, swirl die Sizzix 656323
Embossing folder by Sizzix, cream card blank
Yellow shimmer card, red bows and a strip of red ribbon.

Got no bauble dies? Not a problem, make your own!

Entering into the following challenges:
Frugal Christmas card competition: Using non Christmas items.
Christmas Stampin All Year Long  #34:  Christmas cheer anything goes.
Crafty Ribbons #62: Anything goes with ribbon.
Cut It Up Challenge: Going in circles.
Fussy & Fancy #98: Punches & dies.
Jo's Scrap Shack #18: Anything goes.
Sister Act #25: Anything goes.
Crafty Hazelnuts Extra #9: Anything goes.
Crimbo Crackers #50: Quick & easy.
One Crazy Stamper: Christmas challenge.

Fabulous Mrs A! That's how I began making baubles before I had any bauble dies, just as effective IMHO :) And I love how you hung 'em from a swirl!

You are absolutely ROCKING Nessa's challenge, Mrs. A!! I always enjoy the inspiration I get from other crafter's cards, but I think you take "inspiration" to a whole new level with your clever makes in your last few posts!!

Just back again to say I had a good giggle over your 43 year old grandchild's comments...lol
Kids are just so darned cute!

We are definitely going to see that Silk Mill next trip. DH thought it sounded so interesting!

I am sitting in the RV bloghopping and watching DH and his friend pout a new steel door on our bunkie. Once finished we hope to update the interior and put a queen size bed in their next spring. DH is not usually very handy, and he is busy doing a lovely job! I will have to be sure to remember to tell him that! lol
